TRA 2024: Transport Research Arena

In 2024, Transport Research Arena (TRA) takes place in Dublin, Ireland from Monday 15 to Thursday 18 of April. Transport Research Arena (TRA) is the foremost European transport event that covers all transport modes and all aspects of mobility.

ULTIMO has various spots in the conference agenda:

• On Wednesday 17 April (08.30 – 09.30), partners CERTH, Siemens, and tpg will hold the a presentation ‘CCAM for the users; Matching the user needs with vehicle capabilities in ULTIMO project’. Hall 3B (Serpentine Hall). More info here.
• Also on 17 April (12.00 – 13.00), ULTIMO will join forces with the SHOW project for the session ‘Automated Vehicles in the Public Transport Mix’, held at the UITP stand. In this session, project coordinators and technical leaders discuss the state of the art of AVs in public transport, what are the possibilities for operators and authorities, and where the future lies.
• On 18 April (09.45 – 11.00) Our coordinator Lars Abeler (DB Regio) will participate in the Special Session 6.3: Success Factors and Added Value of International Cooperation in the Context of Inclusive CCAM Services – Learnings from Large-scale Demonstration Projects in the EU & Japan. The goal of the session is to unravel the complexities of CCAM on a global scale, promoting collaborative dialogue and cross-cultural understanding within the realm of transformative transportation research. You find more info on the sesion here.
• Also at the EUCAD Symposium (18 April as of 16.15) ULTIMO partner Hochschule Pforzheim will represent ULTIMO at theNetworking Reception.

Also at the UITP booth the spotlight will be on ULTIMO, with various materials displayed, including a video on LaaS from project partner ZF.
