On 3 and 4 May 2023, the ULTIMO project was presented at EUCAD 2023, the 4th European Conference on Connected and Automated Driving. Held as a physical event for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, EUCAD joins industry, research and political leaders to discuss the way forward towards implementation of large-scale demonstrations, and deployment, of CCAM solutions, in Europe and beyond.
On the evening of 3 May, ULTIMO presented the project at its booth in Autoworld Brussels, where various EU-projects on CCAM highlighted its innovations. Signe Ratso, Deputy Director General, DG RTD addressed the audience with a welcome speech followed by the EUCAR Chair, Jean-François Salessy, Vice President, Advanced Technologies and Expertise, Renault Group. Salessy highlighted, “We live in times of unprecedented societal challenges […] that drive the transformation of our society, demanding innovations and new solutions.”
Over the next years, ULTIMO hopes to attend again and share first project results!
