The past few weeks, ULTIMO has been showing its mission to the world by attending various events across Europe and beyond. From Seville to Dubai and Geneva to Vienna: ULTIMO partners have been exchanging and connecting with the world of public transport and CCAM all across the world.
Late September, Jeroen Beukers from project member TPG connected for two days connecting with regional and global experts, regulators, and prominent researchers on automated vehicles at the Dubai World Congress for Self-Driving Transport. “It is crucial for public transport operators to continuously explore innovative technological solutions and address challenges to create new solutions for affordable and sustainable mobility”, he said.

October also started with a bang, with ULTIMO partners represented at both the Urban Mobility Days (Seville) and the World Passenger Festival (Vienna). The Urban Mobility Days is an event hosted by the European Commission truly focused on urban mobility, and brings together policymakers, local authorities, academics, NGOs, industry and many more stakeholders to discuss the path forward for a sustainable, innovative, and equitable future for Europe’s urban mobility. In Seville, our partner Padam Mobility pitched the project to an engaged audience.
In Vienna, ULTIMO Technical Manager Dimitri Konstantas presented how the project is working towards a more passenger-focus transport system. The World Passenger Festival is an annual event focused on the future of sustainable transport and mobility.
