On 23 October ULTIMO held its second webinar in its “The ULTIMO Frontier: Let’s Talk Automated Mobility” series. This second webinar focused specifically on strategic roadmaps for automated public transport: from vision to reality.
This second webinar featured lessons learned from some real-world examples, including four years of automated driving in Monheim, Germany and the UK’s £66 million commercialising CAM programme. An interactive slido session also provoked discussion around timeline for automated vehicles in public transport and obstacles to overcome. Speakers took part from DB Regio, the UK government’s Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles, Bahnen der Stadt Monheim GmbH (BSM) and the session was moderated by Bax.
