Ruter AS presents ULTIMO to French government representatives

On 30 September project partner Ruter AS, as public transport authority for Oslo and Akershus counties in Norway, presented the ULTIMO project to a visiting delegation from the French government.

Anne-Marie Idrac, former Minister, Senior Official for the Development Strategy of Automated Vehicles, accompanied by Xavier Delache, Head of Department at the Directorate-General for Infrastructure, Transport and Mobility, travelled to Oslo and met with project partner Ruter AS as part of their mission to meet automated road traffic stakeholders in Norway.

The delegation visited the Groruddalen depot and were given an update and overview of the ULTIMO project. Discussions centered around the project and integration with other transport in the Oslo metropolitan area. It also touched upon technological, legal, commercial hurdles, and the inclusion for people with reduced mobility. European-level aspects such as technological trends, as well as the opportunities for coordinated tenders at European level were also part of the topics highlighted.
