Results of the ULTIMO Hackathon are published

ULTIMO project partner Open Geneva has published the outcomes of the ULTIMO hackathon last June. The hackathon invited Citizens to identify the key problems in public transport systems and develop new ideas for automated driving. 45 Use Cases were generated. They provide the base for the development of automated transport systems in Geneva during the ULTIMO project.

Examples of Use Cases

The ideas formulated in the use cases ran in various directions: People had the idea to offer an automated parcel service in collaboration with a drone. The shuttle could transport the parcel to the delivery zone, there the shuttle could release a drone which drops the parcel on the doorstep.  Another suggestion was to design themed vehicles with different exterior and interior decor for all tastes to increase attention on  the automated traffic. Also service times were addressed. One Use case contained the idea of offering broader service time, especially at night.
