The next edition of The ULTIMO Frontier: Let’s Talk Automated Mobility webinar series is coming soon!

On December 9th, from 12:00 to 13:30 CET, ULTIMO will host its sixth webinar: Cybersecurity and Privacy in Autonomous Mobility.

Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) rely heavily on C-ITS infrastructure, which makes cybersecurity and privacy play a major role. This complex, interconnected digital framework makes AVs more vulnerable to remote hacking and data breaches: every line of code, sensor, or connection becomes a potential attack surface. Furthermore, this infrastructure, working through extensive data collection and analysis, raises crucial questions about data privacy for users.

This session brings together five experts who will provide an overview of these critical security risks, including the tools and frameworks developed to handle cybersecurity, access control, and encryption. They will tackle potential risks and threats associated with each category of AV components.

🎤 Featured Discussions and Speakers:

The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Narges Rahimi, Postdoctoral Researcher, SHIELD Automotive Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (Univ. of Windsor).

Prof. Badis Hammi (Associate Professor, Télécom SudParis – Institut Polytechnique de Paris): Assessing the impact of poisoning attacks over augmented 3D point cloud public datasets for autonomous driving scenarios

Prof. Christian Arbinger (Co-Founder & CEO, DiMos): Resilient and cybersecure space-based positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) as an enabler for automated driving

Dr. Takahito Yoshizawa (Postdoctoral Researcher, Computer Security & Industrial Cryptography – COSIC -, KU Leuven): Security and privacy gaps in the V2X standards

Prof. Anastasija Collen (Associate Professor of Cybersecurity, Univ. of Applied Sciences and Arts of Western Switzerland HES-SO – HEG) & Dr. Meriem Benyayha (Senior Researcher and Lecturer, Univ. Mohammed VI Polytechnic UM6P): TARA 2.0 methodology for cyber risk management as developed in the ULTIMO project

Join us on December 9th to get valuable insights into the cybersecurity frameworks, regulations, and standards methodologies for AVs to ensure data privacy and user safety!

Don’t miss this opportunity to understand the challenges and solutions for securing the future of autonomous mobility.
