Autonomous Vehicles and Public Transport in Europe

27 May

Europe stands at a turning point for autonomous mobility. After years of pilots, the focus has shifted to scaling, integration with public transport, and regulatory harmonisation across EU member states. In light of these developments, Global Mass Transit is organising the fifth conference on Autonomous Vehicles & Public Transport Europe 2026 on May 27 at the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel. The conference is part of Global Mass Transit Week, which also features events on Zero Emission Ferries (May 26) and Clean Buses in Europe (May 28–29).

Meet our partner Dimitri Konstantas, Prof. Emerit at the University of Geneva in Switzerland, as a speaker there.

Agenda:

  • Scaling Autonomous Public Transport in Europe
  • Europe’s AV Policy Landscape
  • Integrating AVs into Public Transport
  • OEM & Operator Perspectives
  • Technology Showcase
  • Infrastructure Readiness
  • European Case Studies – Lessons Learned
